Vehicle caught after 103 violations

LAHORE: Traffic police caught a vehicle that had violated traffic rules 103 times. The driver had committed 61 signal violations, crossed lane lines 35 times, exceeded speed limits six times, and used a mobile phone while driving once.

Girl among four found dead

Four people, including a girl, were found dead at different locations in the provincial metropolis on Friday. Body of a 70-year-old citizen was found near Gulberg, Hussain Chowk. The victim was identified as Fawad, son of Muhammad Siddiq.

Body of a 55-year-old man was recovered from an open drain in Bhatti Gate police area. A 45-year-old man was found dead near Christian Cemetery in the limits of Factory Area police. A 22-year-old girl, who was found unconscious in the limits of Nawankot police, expired in hospital. The identity of the three bodies was yet to be ascertained. Bodies were shifted to the morgue.

10 die in road accidents in 24 hours

Around 10 persons were killed and 1,417 injured in 1,371 road accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. Out of these, 579 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 803 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.
