LAHORE: The names of former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, his son Rasikh Elahi, and his daughter-in-law Zara Elahi have been removed from the Passport Control List (PCL) following an order from the Lahore High Court (LHC).
The case, which sought the removal of their names from the PCL, was heard by a single bench of the LHC led by Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza on Thursday. Abuzar Suleman Khan Niazi represented the petitioners during the hearing.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) informed the court in a report that the names of Pervaiz Elahi, Rasikh Elahi, and Zara Elahi had been removed from the PCL. Based on this report, the court disposed of the petition.Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and others had filed the petition to have their names removed from the PCL.
