KARACHI: The PTI has challenged the steps taken by practice and procedure committee in the absence of justice Mansoor Ali Shah.

PTI Additional Secretary Seneral Firdous Shamim Naqvi has filed petition through counsel Ali Zafar in Supreme Court (SC).

The petitioner has taken plea that September 23 and October 01 decisions of practice and procedure committee comprising Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Amin ud Din be declared illegal.

It was said in the petition that court’s proceedings and steps in the perspective of September 23 and October 01 decisions be declared illegal. Interior secretary and registrar Supreme Court has been made respondents in the petition.
