MULTAN: On the directive of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, South Punjab Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Fuad Hashim Rabbani has instructed all commissioners and deputy commissioners to intensify dengue eradication efforts, threatening strict action against officials who submit false dengue surveillance reports.

He stressed the importance of strict adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for eliminating dengue hotspots. On Thursday, the ACS visited Nishtar Hospital’s dengue ward to inquire about medical facilities, patient demographics, and travel history. He instructed that the best possible medical care be provided to all patients free of charge.
