KARACHI: The Beauty Istanbul Exhibition opened today, featuring over 1,100 firms from 80 countries, including 30 dedicated country pavilions. This three-day mega event, which runs until October 4, 2024, highlights the global beauty and personal care industry.
Pakistan is proudly represented by 25 companies, with 18 participating under the country pavilion and seven showcasing their products independently. These firms are exhibiting a diverse range of beauty and personal care products, reflecting the country’s growing industry.
During the opening session, Consul General of Pakistan Nauman Aslam praised the efforts of the fair organizers and highlighted the increasing domestic production and export of skin and beauty care products from Pakistan. He noted the importance of such exhibitions in promoting international trade and collaboration.
The Pakistan pavilion has been established with the support of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and is supervised by the trade and investment wing of the consulate general of Pakistan in Istanbul. Many participating firms are returning for their third consecutive year, while new companies are also joining to explore business opportunities in Turkiye and connect with foreign buyers from around the world.
