ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) Wednesday assured the Supreme Court that the CDA’s ex-officer Mustafain Kazmi would be proceeded against for misconduct during the hearing of a review petition against its judgment on the defection clause of Article 63A of the Constitution.
Soon after the police took Kazmi out of the courtroom, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel asked Farooq H Naek, Vice Chairman Pakistan Bar Council, if he had taken notice of the ex-CDA officer’s misconduct. Naek assured the court that Kazmi would be proceeded against under the relevant provisions of Legal Practitioners and Pakistan Bar Council Act 1973.
