KP govt signs NFA under IMF conditions
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Wednesday signed the National Fiscal Agreement under the conditions set forth by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and asked the federal government to form a ministerial committee.
Talking to the Geo News, Advisor to Chief Minister on Finance Muzzamil Aslam said that KP cabinet had raised over five questions on the amendments, which had been sent to the Finance Division.
He said that the Finance Division had responded with detailed answers to the questions raised by the KP cabinet.To evolve consensus, the advisor said that they had requested the federal finance minister to forma ministerial committee to settle the issues related to the IMF conditions and the subsequent National Fiscal Agreement.
