Strike of SBBU employees enter 2nd day

DIR: Employees of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University in Sheringal continued their protest on the second consecutive day on Wednesday to demand acceptance of their genuine demands.
The staff from the Wari campus of the university also joined the protest, raising slogans in support of their demands. Spokesperson for the employees’ association, Rahimullah said that all the administrative staff have joined the strike and decided to continue the protest till the acceptance of their demands. “A peaceful protest is our right and we will not bow to any pressure,” said one of the protesters.Meanwhile, the pro-vice chancellor, Abdul Khaliq Jan and the director finance, Murad Hussain, met with the protesters to discuss their demands.
