Islamabad: Dr Amir Khan, a young scientist from Pakistan currently at the University of Maryland, Baltimore has made history by winning a prestigious award from the Urology Care Foundation (UFC), the official foundation of the American Urology Association, (AUA), says a press release.
The UFC Humanitarian Grant is backing a transformative programme led by Dr Khan to address these challenges. this initiative aims to empower urologists in Pakistan through mentorship and research, ultimately creating databanks that will position the country for participation in global clinics, attracting interest from major pharmaceutical companies.
