LAHORE: Punjab police unearthed 5,127 gangs and arrested 12,809 members of the gangs involved in serious crimes across the province, including Lahore in nine months.
The police recovered 811 vehicles, 12,830 motorcycles, 1,957 tons of gold, 4737 mobile phones and 106 cattle. According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, 2,863 gangs were eliminated and 6,573 accused were arrested in Lahore.
