LAHORE: Punjab police registered 139,484 cases and arrested 104,808 individuals for electricity theft across the province in nine months.
Police submitted 96,358 challans and sent 20,205 electricity thieves to jail.
The police registered 45,349 cases and arrested 44,696 power pilferers in the provincial capital. Challans of 23,110 cases were submitted and 12,131 accused were sent to jail in Lahore.
