Land worth over Rs158m retrieved
LAHORE: In a major operation led by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), land worth Rs158.88 million was retrieved from illegal occupants in Raiwind.
The crackdown was conducted on the directives of ETPB Chairman Dr Syed Attaur Rahman, under the supervision of Secretary Board Farid Iqbal and Administrator Lahore Muhammad Akram Joya, with the support of Deputy Administrator Munir Ahmad. The operation, carried out in coordination with the FIA and local police, targeted 107 kanals and three marlas of agricultural land in Raiwind, valued at approximately Rs90.53 million. Additionally, 40 kanals of land in Moza Bhai Kot, Tehsil Raiwind, worth around Rs60.35 million, were also reclaimed.
Inspector Irfan Ahmad, Muhammad Aslam Patwari, Security Officer Ahsan Khan, and other personnel from the Lahore office of the ETPB were actively involved in the operation. The recovered land has been taken into custody by the ETPB.
