Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the need for elites to make sacrifices while acknowledging the support of friendly nations in securing the IMF package to stabilize Pakistan's economy. However, this notion remains unfulfilled, as bureaucratic, political, and institutional privileges persist. The wealth gap widens, with the rich accumulating more wealth and the poor and the middle classes struggling amidst inflation. To address this, a tangible strategy is necessary to demonstrate the ruling coalition’s commitment to resolving the crisis. Moreover, economic stability is intricately linked with political stability, which is essential for policy continuity. Pakistan's security challenges also impose significant costs. Resolving these, alongside other crucial measures, is crucial for overcoming political, economic, and security instabilities.
