LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz Sharif have sought relief in the Ramzan Sugar Mills reference under the NAB amendment law.
The counsel for PM Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz has filed a petition in the accountability court regarding jurisdiction powers of the court.
The petition said the court had no jurisdiction to hear the reference under the new NAB laws and it should send back the reference to the NAB chairman. The court sought replies from the NAB till October 11. The court also accepted the exemption plea of Shehbaz Sharif for one day.
