7 gunned down in Sialkot over land dispute
Police say incident happened in jurisdiction of Qila Kallerwala Police Station in Tehsil Pasroor and was result of old enmity
SIALKOT: Seven persons were reportedly killed on Tuesday evening as a result of firing on a vehicle by rivals.
According to the local police initially it is found out that the incident happened in the area under the Qila Kallerwala Police Station in Tehsil Pasroor and was result of an old enmity based on disputed land in Sheikhupura district.
The DPO Sialkot Rana Umer Farooq, while taking immediate notice, has formed police teams under SP Investigation, DSP Pasroor and SHO Qila Kallerwala for the early arrest of the accused persons.
It is told that Sialkot and Sheikhupura police were jointly investigating the case.
The deceased included, Qari Ishfaq, Nisar Ahmed, M Anwar, Master Shafaat, Neka Masih, unidentified driver of the vehicle. Bodies were sent to the local morgue by the police for autopsy.
