ISLAMABAD: The Fact-Finding Committee of the National Assembly, while terming the remarks made by MNA Muhammad Iqbal concerning the attire of a female officer of K-Electric during the meeting of the Standing Committee on Energy (Power Division) as “inappropriate and uncalled-for”, recommended that the MNA should offer an apology.
The NA’s Fact-Finding Committee headed by Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazir Tarar has also decided that if MNA Muhammad Iqbal, belonging to Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), did not offer apology to the woman officer of K-Electric in the upcoming meeting of the NA Standing Committee on Energy (Power Division), then the case will be referred to the NA Speaker for taking action.
