LAHORE:The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved three development schemes worth over Rs3 billion. The schemes were approved in the 33rd meeting of the (PDWP) for CFY 2024-25, chaired by Planning and Development (P&D) Board Chairman Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, three development schemes were approved, amounting to Rs3.471 billion.
The approved schemes included widening/ improvement of road from Bhera to Phularwan, (New) District Sargodha at the cost of Rs825.379 million, rehabilitation of Pakpattan-Kamir Road from Chowk Arayian, Pakpattan to Saqib Adda 26/EB via Saleem Kot Jhal, District Pakpattan at the cost of Rs1.563 billion and rehabilitation/reconstruction/ carpeting of metalled road from Rahim Yar Khan (Noor-e-Wali Railway crossing) to Sadiqabad (Fire Brigade Office Chowk), District Rahim Yar Khan at the cost of Rs1.083 billion. The meeting was attended by Planning and Development Board Secretary Dr Asif Tufail, Chief Economist Masood Anwar, members of P&D Board and other senior officials.
