ISLAMABAD: Iran edged out Pakistan 41-36 to win the World Beach Kabaddi Championship that concluded on Monday in Iran.
The final was a keenly-contested affair with Pakistan looked well placed to win the title before hosts Iran came back strongly to edge out the visitors to take the title. Earlier, Pakistan defeated Iraq easily to make it to the final while Iran proved too strong for Kenya on their way to make it to the final.
