Lower judiciary reshuffled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim on Monday issued orders for the transfer and posting of 165 judicial officers, including 16 district and sessions judges and 50 additional district and sessions judges in a major reshuffle in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa judiciary.

Some judicial officers were made officers on special duty (OSDs) for future appointments, while others were posted to the vacant positions.According to separate notifications issued by PHC Registrar Ikhtiyar Khan, the 16 district and sessions judges who were transferred included District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Asif, from Charsadda to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), Kohat, Muhammad Zafar from Kohat to National Accountability (NAB) Court-3, Peshawar, Rozina Rahman from Karak to Director NJPIC, Amjad Zia Siddiqui from Kolai Pallas to NAB Court Peshawar, Usman Basheer Khan from ATC Peshawar to Charsadda, Asad Ali from Upper Chitral to ATC 1 Peshawar, Ihtishamul Haq from Kurram to District and Sessions Judge, Hangu, Nadeem Muhammad from Peshawar to Tank, Syed Yasir Shabbir from Mansehra to Karak, Rashidullah Kundi from Mardan to Kurram, Jamal Shah Mehsud from Shabqadar Charsadda to Lower Kohistan, Muhammad Saeed Amjad from Peshawar to Banking Court, Dera Ismail Khan, Naveedur Rahman from Mansehra to Upper Chitral, Syed Badshah from Peshawar to ATC Judge Buner, Shaukat Ali from Khyber to Kolai Pallas District and Sessions Judge Ziaul Haq from Mohmand to Consumer Court Judge, Chitral.

Also, 50 additional district and sessions judges have been transferred including Bakht Alam from Peshawar to Chota Lahor, Swabi, Wajid Ali Khan from Mansehra to Director Regulations, Rahatullah from Swat to Buner, Muhammad Zaib Khan from Balakot to Lakki Marwat, Mian Mahmood from DI Khan to Peshawar, Ijaz Ahmad from Peshawar to Mohmand, Shabana Mehsud from Abbottabad to Bannu, Nadia Saeed from Lakki Marwat to Peshawar, Ameer Ali from Lakki Marwat to Peshawar, Muhammad Jamil, from DI Khan to Peshawar, Saeed Hamid Qasim from Lahor, Swabi, to Abbottabad, Saima Asim from Peshawar to Mansehra, Malik Muhammad Hasnain from Tank to Mardan, Asim Riaz from Mardan to Balakot, Mansehra,

Saeed Zahid Shah from Mohmand to Peshawar, Shah Wali Khan from Tangi to Bannu.

The notification further listed other additional district and sessions judges who were transferred, including Muhammad Sajid, Mohib Jan, Hina Mehwish, Muhammad Ghayas Khan, Abdul Majeed, Mirza Muhammad Kashif, Aftab Iqbal, Nasir Khan, Fazal Gul, Shabbir Muhammad Durrani, Muhammad Asghar Ali, Ijazur Rahman Qazi, Mahjabeen, Naseer Ahmad, Islamuddin, Asmatullah, Saeed Fazal Wadood, Shah Sultan, Abdul Hassan Mohmand, Shamsul Huda, Hussain Ali, Khalid Mansoor, Ijazur Rahman, Saeed Israr Ali Shah, Kiran Shaukat, Muhammad Irfan, Najeebul Haq, Muhammad Hanif, Iftikhar Ahmad, Bakht Zada, Saeeda Tehreema Sabah, Muhammad Jamil Khan and Asif Kamal.

Similarly, 24 senior civil judges were transferred. They included Ashfaq Ahmad from Bannu to Malakand, Farmanullah from Lower Dir to Buner, Senior Civil Judge Ataullah to District Mardan, Shiraz Firdous to Abbottabad, Tanveer Usman to Nowshera, Tahir Zainab Malik to Charsadda, Asif Raza as Senior Research and Reference Officer, Muhammad Ismailto Swat, Alia to Lower Dir, Saeeda Akhtar to Malakand, Aamna Haider to Bannu, Sanam Sajjad to Peshawar, Sabir Ali Shah to Buner, Ijaz Mehsud to Orakzai, Shaukat Hussain to South Waziristan, Yasir Hussain to DI Khan, Aziz Ahmad to Karak, Adnan Iqbal to Hangu, Rafaqat Zahoor to Swabi, Rashid Ali to Battagram, Samiullah to North Waziristan, Iram Nosheen to Nowshera, Arshad Ali, to Upper Chitral, Iram Ayesha to Haripur.

Of these senior civil judges, 12 have been promoted and assigned new postings.According to another notification, some 75 civil judges were transferred. They include: Amjadullah, Hassan Ali Khan, Muhammad Junaid Alam, Saeed Abbas Bukhari, Zahir Khan, Ilyas Saeed, Muhammad Tariq Khan, Shah Nofil, Zahid Ali Khan, Liaqat Khan, Nayyir Iqbal, Shah Khalid, Khizar Ali Khan, Sheikh Waqas Ahmad, Imtiaz Ahmad, Sana Shah, Inayat Ullah Khan, Arshad Saeed, Abdullah Qazi, Haroon Rashid, Badr Riaz, Jibran Khan, Aizaz ul Haq, Kaleem Ullah, Amir Ali, Aqsa Bibi, Yousuf Shah, Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Abdul Basit, Ehsan Khan, Aqib Aman, Rehana Ehsan, Sidra, Zainab Batool Zaidi, Ahmed Rasheed, Faheem Ahmed, Kiran Noor, Tanzil ur Rahman, Waqar Ahmed, Muhammad Ijaz, Tashfeen Aziz, Sidra Ibrahim, Umar Farooq and others.
