Success of higher achievers celebrated

Islamabad:Beaconhouse International College hosted its High Achievers’ and Graduation Ceremony 2024 here at the PNCA Auditorium in Islamabad, celebrating the success of nearly 500 students, including graduates and high achievers, who have excelled in globally recognised qualifications from prestigious partners such as Pearson, the University of London, and Liverpool John Moores University.

The event was graced by numerous dignitaries, including Mr Nassir Kasuri, CEO of Beaconhouse International College, and Ms Safia Cassim, CHO of Beaconhouse International College, along with other local and international guests. Beaconhouse International College, now also offering a diverse range of internationally recognised programmes in collaboration with the University of Essex, University of Kent, is rapidly establishing itself as a leader in the Transnational Education (TNE) sector. With these partnerships, the institution is creating global pathways for Pakistani students and empowering them to achieve academic and professional success.

Meanwhile, Beaconhouse International College (BIC) successfully hosted its annual BIC Symposium 2024 at the PNCA Auditorium. With the theme ‘Redefining TNE: Beyond Degrees, Beyond Distance,’ the symposium reaffirmed BIC’s leadership in academia and its commitment to advancing thought leadership in the education sector.

The event featured insightful sessions on setting strategic directions, maintaining quality across borders in higher education, enhancing employability, and exploring the mind-set of TNE learners. Key speakers included Nassir Kasuri, CEO of BIC, Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz; Tariq Jadoon, Provost of LUMS; Annecy Lax, Dean of Partnerships at the University of Essex; and Basit Riaz Sheikh, Founder of Instaworld Inc., among other distinguished leaders from academia and industry.

The symposium drew a diverse audience of students, educators, and professionals, serving as a platform for discussing the future of transnational education and showcasing BIC’s role in shaping educational standards. As an annual event, the BIC Symposium reflects BIC’s continued efforts to lead the discourse in higher education and drive innovation in the sector.
