RAWALPINDI: One of the eight Khwarij killed by the security forces in a recent intelligence-based operation (IBO) has been identified as an Afghan national, which is yet another evidence that Taliban in Afghanistan have been involved in terrorist acts in the neighbouring country.

Security forces, in a successful IBO in Razmak area of North Waziristan, killed eight Khwarij on Thursday. One of them was identified as Jalal, son of Nematullah, a resident of Bermal area of Paktika province. Sources said that an Afghan identity card recovered from body of a terrorist is also an evidence that he is an Afghan national. Other Khwarij escaped to Afghanistan where they are getting safe shelters. “The involvement of Afghan Taliban in most of terrorist activities in Pakistan is evident from the fact that several Afghan Taliban have been killed or arrested in Pakistani security forces operations,” the sources said.

Another Kharji killed in Razmak operation was identified as Saifullah, son of Deen Faraz, and he belonged to Haji Gul Bahadur group of Fitna Al-Khwarij. He was enjoying complete freedom in Afghanistan to move with arms.

The evidences received so far also hint that Fitna Al Khwarij and Afghan Taliban are two sides of the same coin. This is not for the first time that such evidences have been received. Previously, some undeniable evidence of presence of head of Fitna Al-Khwarij Noor Wali and Mazaham Mehsud in Afghanistan have also come to forth.

The defence analysts say that killing of an Afghan terrorist in Pakistan also provided a lead that there has been collaboration between Fitna Al-Khwarij and Afghan Taliban in carrying out terrorist activities in Pakistan and same evidence were also shared with the Afghan interim government, but the Afghan Taliban paid no heed. They said that Afghan Taliban, while deceiving the international community, were also supporting Fitna Al-Khwarij. “Peace of the region is facing serious threats due to collaboration between two sides,” they observed.
