The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) has initiated a series of development projects aimed at enhancing local facilities.

As part of this initiative, the repair and beautification and renovation of Ittehad Commercial Area have been completed. This commercial zone, built to international standards, features underground fire hydrants, pedestrian-friendly paved sidewalks, various types of plants, solar-powered streetlights, and liquid trees that produce artificial oxygen, including road carpeting, road-marking, footpath repairs, the creation of green belts, and the install traffic signals. This project promises to significantly improve the area’s appearance.

President Cantonment Board Clifton and Station Commander Karachi Brig Shahid Zia stated that the Clifton Cantonment’s ongoing goal is to provide residents with high-quality basic facilities. The CBC has allocated a suitable budget for development works, which are expected to be completed across the entire area soon.

The executive officer of the CBC emphasized that the board’s mission is to ensure residents of Clifton have access to top-notch amenities. Once the projects are completed, Clifton Cantonment will become even more beautiful and well-equipped. Residents are encouraged to cooperate during the development process.

Various development projects are currently underway within the Clifton Cantonment to enhance residential facilities and strengthen the area’s infrastructure. These projects include road construction and repair, park restoration, installation and maintenance of streetlights, and improvements to the water supply system. The aim is to ease the lives of citizens and provide a better environment.
