US consul general visits KP-BOIT

PESHAWAR: US Consul General Shante Moore on Friday visited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade.The US consul general held a meeting with Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Industries Commerce and Technical Education Abdul Karim Tordher and KP-BOIT Team, said an official communique.

Representatives of All Pakistan Beekeepers, Exporters and Honey traders’ Association, Industrialists Association Hattar SEZ and Shaheed Benazir Women University Peshawar also attended the meeting. SACM welcomed the US consul general while Director Business Facilitation Iqbal Sarwar briefed them on the aspects of investment and trade potential of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Director Business Facilitation also highlighted that bilateral trade cooperation and relations between the United State of America and Pakistan can further be extended in different sectors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In that regard a mechanism may be established for exchange of business delegations. The consul general applauded the efforts of KP-BOIT and pledged their support and wider cooperation in various sectors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
