ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Thursday met JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman and discussed matters pertaining to national politics and constitutional amendment.
In a statement, the JUI-F spokesman said the two sides discussed matters relating to the country’s politics and the constitutional amendment.
The PTI delegation comprised Salman Akram Raja, Sahibzada Hamid Raza and Akhunzada Hussain.
Senator Kamran Murtaza of JUI-F, who attended the meeting, later said the draft of the constitutional amendment had not been prepared so far.
He said they were part of the opposition but would support any government move taken in national interest.
Sources said the sides decided to adopt a similar stance on the constitutional amendment. It was also decided to prepare a joint draft of the constitutional amendment.
