As I walk through the city, as I travel in any part of the country, I always get disheartened by the presence and accumulation of plastic waste. Plastic pollution today affects the air we inhale, the water we drink, and the food we eat.
To combat this crisis, this government should implement policies including sustainable packaging rules and restricting single-use plastics. Initiatives like banning plastic bags, recycling plastics and plastic pollution awareness can make a significant change.
