PESHAWA: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday granted transit bail to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Member of the National Assembly, Arbab Aamir Ayub and district general secretary Malik Shahab advocate and directed them to appear before the relevant court by October 7.
Counsel for the petitioners Ali Zaman advocate informed the PHC single-member bench of Justice Shakeel Ahmad that a case had been registered against Aamir Ayub, his security guard, and former provincial assembly candidate Malik Shahab advocate at the Tarnol Police Station.
He pleaded that they wanted to appear before the relevant court but feared being arrested before doing so.The lawyer prayed the court to grant transit bail to his clients so that they could appear in the court.
