IHC seeks reply on Zartaj’s ECL plea
They register secret FIRs and then place my name on the ECL

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought a reply from the government for not removing PTI leader Zartaj Gul from the Exit Control List (ECL). The state counsel told the court that an FIR was lodged against Zartaj in Dera Ghazi Khan. Zartaj’s counsel said the bail in this case had been confirmed. “We have filed a miscellaneous application about the bail confirmation.”
Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri said the bail was confirmed on September 5. Zartaj told the court: “They are not t giving me my passport, how will I travel? Four secret cases have been registered against me. I am an elected member of assembly. It is my right to go anywhere as per my will. They register secret FIRs and then place my name on the ECL.”
