PESHAWAR: Minister for Higher Education, Archives and Libraries, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Meena Khan, on Wednesday inaugurated the web-based Data Management System at the in Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA).
A communication said the system would greatly change the data handling method, making processes smoother, faster, and more efficient across private sector higher educational institutions.
“It is a step forward in modernizing our educational framework, ensuring greater transparency, and improving access to valuable information,” said the press release.HERA Chairman Sharif Hussain briefed the minister on the salient features of “HERA CONNECT”.
He said it included categorization of data into different themes/sectors, statistical analysis of the data and report generation, availability of accurate and updated data of private sector higher education institutions for policy-making and education plans and how this system will transform our education landscape. The HERA chairman was grateful to the minister for his support and appreciation of taking the step towards a brighter, tech-driven future to better serve our students, teachers and private higher educational institutions in KP.
