CHITRAL: Khyber Pakhtu-nkhwa Minister for Food Muhammad Zahir Shah said on Wednesday that the federal government employed every tactic to block the path of those who champion the slogan of real ‘change’.

“Imran Khan is the name of a true change and a bulwark against the corruption in the country, and the people of Pakistan are not ready to forget his name,” the minister said while talking to reporters here.

He said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder and former prime minister Imran Khan had been rendering sacrifice for the sake of his nation and country but was not ready to compromise on principles.

The minister urged the federal government to realize the ground realities and hand over power to the one in whose favour votes were cast on February 8, this year. He said that the ‘incompetent’ rulers had failed to learn lesson from the past mistakes.

The minister said that PTI was striving to promote education, health, justice, and make Pakistan corruption-free, which was the vision of former PM Imran Khan.He warned that if there were any reports of poor-quality wheat being purchased in any district, the relevant district food controller (DFC) and their team would be sent home immediately.

He said that the purpose of his visit to Chitral was to check the quality of the purchased wheat. The minister added that, following Chief Minister Amin Ali Gandapur’s 11-point public agenda, special tasks had been assigned to deputy commissioners to address local issues, resulting in the effective resolution of public problems.
