TAKHTBHAI: A former chief minister and Awami National Party’s (ANP) provincial chief Ameer Haider Hoti said on Friday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had forgotten the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but the Panama Leaks issue served as a blessing in disguise to draw his attention towards the development of the province.
Addressing a gathering at Garo Shah in Takhtbhai, Hoti said that Panama Leaks was a matter of contention between Punjab and the Federal government but Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was using it for his vested interests.
He lashed out at PTI chief and his government in the province for disappointing the people of the province. Imran Khan deceived people in the name of change but failed to bring about any change in the province, he added.
Ameer Haider Hoti said the ANP’s politics was aimed at bringing the disunited Pakhtuns on a single platform. He said the failure of the incumbent PTI government was evident from the fact that they could not even complete the projects ANP had started.
