CTD asks public to help arrest DSP Ali Raza’s murder suspects
The Sindh police’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Monday appealed to the public for assistance in capturing the suspects involved in the murder of DSP Ali Raza.
The CTD released a photo of one suspect and sketches of four others connected to the case. CTD officials urged the public to help identify and apprehend those responsible for the DSP’s murder. The Sindh government has announced a reward for anyone who will aide in this effort.
On July 7, near Shakeel Corporation in Karimabad, unidentified assailants shot and killed CTD Sindh DSP Ali Raza. An FIR was registered at the CTD police station. Over two and a half months have passed since the incident, but the department has yet to trace or apprehend the suspects.
The recent release of the suspect’s photo and sketches, created with input from eyewitnesses and CCTV footage, marked a renewed effort by the CTD. Officials emphasised that any information provided would remain confidential and encourage the public to assist in identifying the suspects.
