Rawalpindi: The Association of Business, Professional and Agricultural Women (ABP&AW) organized a special Mehfil-e-Milad in celebration of Rabi-ul-Awal at the residence of Tahmeena Malik.

The event, attended by over 50 women, was a memorable gathering that beautifully combined spirituality, community, and reflection. The residence was tastefully decorated, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere with a traditional Farshi Nishist seating arrangement, adding to the event’s charm. The evening was filled with soulful renditions of Naats, with Sana Nemat, Mona, and Nosheen Shah captivating the audience with their beautiful recitations.

In addition to the Naats, the event featured insightful Biaan (talks) focusing on key topics such as unnecessary expenditure, ethical financial dealings, and the virtues of patience and tolerance, all in the light of Islamic teachings. These messages resonated deeply with attendees, offering a moment of reflection on practical aspects of daily life. Tahmeena Malik warmly welcomed new members to the association and expressed her gratitude to all participants for making the event a success. The evening concluded with a sumptuous meal, and the lively gathering left everyone with a sense of community and spiritual fulfilment. The Mehfil-e-Milad was a wonderful opportunity for the women of ABP&AW to come together, celebrate their faith, and reflect on important values, making it a truly meaningful event.
