Youth urged to strive for entrepreneurial success

ABBOTTABAD: The Young Leaders Parliament’s three-day entrepreneurship conference in Nathiagali concluded on Monday with calls on youth to strive for entrepreneurial success instead of looking to the government for jobs.

Collaboration for the event was done with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Youth Affairs and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Advisor to the Chief Minister on Information, and youth coordinator Yasser Khan attended the moot.

As many as 70 young leaders from various districts of KP participated in the conference. Rana Mashhood said youth had the potential stating that their enthusiasm could pave the way for a brighter future.

He emphasized the wealth of talent in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and assured that the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme was focused on providing equal opportunities for youth across all provinces.

Rana Mashhood said the youth were provided opportunities regardless of their backgrounds. He reaffirmed the commitment to education and skill development as key priorities. Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said the KP government was implementing policies to equip youth to face future challenges.

He encouraged young people to strive for entrepreneurial success rather than solely relying on government jobs. The adviser to the chief minister announced an upcoming initiative by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur that would offer interest-free loans to youth for various business ventures, aiming to empower them economically.

Rana Mashhood and Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif commended the efforts of the young Leaders of Parliament in organizing the event. The conference also included detailed sessions on entrepreneurship, e-commerce, technical education, and online business.

Participants were allowed to engage with speakers, enhancing their understanding of the topics discussed. The President of the Young Leaders Parliament, Naveed Ahmad Khan, explained that the conference aimed to enhance leadership skills among youth, emphasizing the importance of parliamentary training.

He noted the role of these initiatives in preparing youth to tackle future challenges and thanked participants for their engagement. Naveed Ahmad Khan presented shields to distinguished guests and awarded certificates to the participating youth at the end of the conference.
