The diplomats and their families who survived IED blast

Foreign dignitaries included envoys of Russia, Iran, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Vietnam, Kazakhstan etc

ISLAMABAD: The ambassadors and diplomats who remained unhurt in the IED blast belong to several countries. The wives of some of them and some family members were also present in their vehicles and their total number is said to be 23.

Russian Ambassador Albert Horev was accompanied by his staff member Vladimir Dzhigunov. Ambassador of Iran Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam and his wife Azam Amiri were also traveling in a car. Indonesian Ambassador Rahmat Hindiarta Kasuma was travelling along with his wife Mrs Nimat Al Mashrofa and daughter Mavia Hindiarta. Ambassador of Vietnam Pham Anduan was accompanied by his wife Luguin Beach Ngoc in the car. Yerzhan Kistafin, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, and his wife were traveling in a car.
