The Sindh Assembly member belonging to the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Muhammad Farooq Farhan, has stated that he will continue to raise his voice inside and outside the legislature for the resolution of the basic issues of the residents of his constituency comprising the Korangi and Malir areas.
The JI MPA stated this while speaking at a reception hosted by a committee of the Gauhar Green City residential project in Malir.
He added that the issues related to sewerage system, road network, streetlights and other civic problems around the residential project would be resolved expeditiously.
He said tenders had been floated for the installation of tiles along Altaf Hussain Road in the area and the development work was expected to be launched in two weeks. The JI MPA appreciated services provided by the office bearers of the committee for resolution of civic problems within and outside the project. He urged the natives of Karachi to show the same vigour and commitment to resolve their basic civic problems on a self-help basis.
Model Town Chairman Zafar Ahmed told the audience that the reconstruction of Altaf Hussain Hali Road from the Malir City police station to Murtaza Chowrangi would be carried out under the CLICK project.
