LGH starts shuttle ambulance service
LAHORE:The administration of Lahore General Hospital, Under the guidance of PGMI Principal Prof Dr Muhammad Al-Fareed Zafar, has initiated a shuttle ambulance service to facilitate patients. According to MS Dr Faryad Hussain, two ambulances have been designated in the first phase to transfer patients from the emergency department to the wards. This service will be available around the clock, he said.
Dr Faryad Hussain further stated that the duty DMSE will ensure the availability of ambulances to smoothly transfer patients to other departments during their shifts. He mentioned that all resources are being used for the convenience of the patients under the leadership of Principal Prof Al- Fareed Zafar.
Dr Faryad Hussain said that further steps would be taken based on positive feedback from the general public. He emphasised that the directives issued by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for providing quality healthcare to patients were being fully implemented. A monitoring committee has also been established to address patients’ issues directly at their bedsides, he concluded.
