FAISALABAD: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has asked all the national sports federations to submit detailed expenditure reports against the special grants provided during the fiscal year 2023-24.
In a letter sent to all federations, the PSB stated that the required details must be submitted within 15 days, accompanied by all relevant documents. The letter warns that failure to comply could result in the withdrawal of future assistance.
“The Pakistan Sports Board disbursed special grants to National Sports Federations, including your Federation, during the financial year 2023-2024, as per the attached list. Despite the considerable time elapsed, a detailed expenditure report has yet to be submitted,” the letter states.
“In light of this, you are requested to provide the detailed expenditure report along with original receipts, invoices, and vouchers within 15 days of this letter’s issuance.” The letter emphasises that failure to provide the required documentation may lead to the withholding of future grants or payments. The PSB also reminded federations that it had previously requested the submission of audited accounts and bank statements for all their accounts. According to a list available with this correspondent, the Pakistan Volleyball Federation received a special grant of PKR 100 million in the fiscal year 2023-24.
