ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has confirmed the suspension orders of two police officers posted in Sindh.
The Sindh government had suspended Mirpurkhas DIG Javed Soonharo Jiskan and SSP Captain (Rtd) Muhammad Asad Ali Chaudhry for 120 days after the killing of a blasphemy accused, Dr. Shahnawaz, in a police encounter.
The Services and General Administration Department of Sindh had written a letter to the Establishment Division, informing it about the suspension.
In response to the letter, Establishment Division Deputy Secretary Muhammad Ahmed Usmani has written a letter to the Sindh Chief Secretary, which confirmed the suspension orders of the two police officers. In the letter, the Establishment Division has requested the Sindh government to send the draft charge-sheet and statement of allegations against the two officers so that action could be taken against them.
Javed Soonharo Jiskani is a Grade 20 officer of the police service while Captain (retd) Muhammad Asad Ali Chaudhry is a Grade 19 officer of the police service.
