IMCG celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi

Islamabad : Following its splendid tradition of celebrating Eid Milad un Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) with spiritual zeal and zest, IMCG(PG), F-7/4, Margala College marked the occasion here on Friday.

This day honours the birth of the last prophet of Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), who illuminated the world with his guidance, dispelling the darkness of evil practices and serving as a beacon of hope, guidance, and peace for entire humanity.

The Holy celebration was graced by esteemed former principals of the host college Farhat Mujtaba, Samina Shamim, Farkhanda Ishtiaq, Saleha Jabeen, and Dr. Fouzia Tanveer, principal, IMCG(PG), F-7/2, Rozina Faheem, principal, HE&MC, F-11/1, Abida Perveen, principal, IMCG(PG), Bhara Kahu, as guests.

Principal Ayesha Kayani, Vice Principal Sarah Kazmi, teaching and non-teaching faculty, along with a large number of students, attended the event. The programme commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, setting a solemn tone for the day.

This was followed by recitation of a series of heart-touching ‘naats’ by faculty members and students, celebrating the virtues of the holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).

Faculty members also shared insightful reflections on the life of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), emphasising his life as an ultimate role model for the entire humanity. The programme concluded with heartfelt prayers for the progress and prosperity of our beloved country, invoking the guidance of our Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).

The event not only celebrated the Prophet’s teachings but also reinforced the values of compassion and unity within the college community.
