House robbed, 3 bikes lifted in Nowshera

NOWSHERA: A house was robbed and three motorcycles were lifted in the Nowshera district on Friday.The first crime was reported in Joharabad locality of Nowshera Kalaan where four armed robbers with a woman accomplice robbed the house of Kafayat Khan, son of Zahid Khan.

A woman entered the house and asked for some water. When she saw that the woman in the house was alone, she called in her four armed accomplices.The armed robbers took the keys from the woman after subjecting her to several physical violence. They decamped with 12 tolas of gold and Rs 1.1million cash.

The police registered a case on the complaint of Kafayat Khan and launched an investigation.Meanwhile, three bikes were lifted from different localities. A bike was lifted from outside the Namrah Masjid in Misri Banda when the owner, Sadam Gul, son of Raid Gul, was offering Juma prayer inside the place of worship.

The second motorcycle was lifted from Khushal Khan Khattak Library in Akora Khattak town. The owner, Aziz, son of Saifur Rehman, parked the bike outside a shop and went inside for shopping. He was deprived of his two-wheeler. The third bike was lifted in the limits of the Misri Banda Police Station. It was a 2024 model new motorcycle.
