Medical college to get principal

TIMERGARA: Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) and chairman of District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC), Lower Dir, Ubaidur Rahman on Friday said the principal for Timeragra Medical College will soon be appointed.

“A summary for the appointment of principal to the Timergar Medical College has been sent to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat for approval,” he said, adding that it is expected that the appointment would be made during the next week.

He said he also discussed the issues regarding Timergara Teaching Hospital (TTH, appointment of principal to Timergara Medical College (TMC) and other matters with Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Ihtesham Khan.

“The summary regarding appointment of Prof Dr. Samiullah as principal TMC was moved to the chief minister and formal notification will likely be issued next week,” Ubaidur Rahman said. He said that the adviser to the chief minister will also visit Lower Dir district soon.
