LAHORE: The two-day Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Inter-Division Dodgeball Championship was inaugurated on Friday at the Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall by Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal.
Thrilling matches were played on the first day in the foam and fabric ball categories. In the foam ball category Sargodha Division advanced to the final after a narrow victory over Gujranwala Division by 6-5 sets while Lahore Division defeated Sahiwal Division by 7-4 sets in the second semifinal.
The event is being participated by the teams from all the eight divisions of Punjab. Speaking on the occasion DG Sports expressed confidence that the championship would help discover new talent in the game of dodgeball across Punjab.
