University of Agriculture Faisalabad partners with Pak Suzuki to advance biogas technology
KARACHI: The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) and Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on September 19, 2024 to collaborate on research and development initiatives focused on biogas technology and organic fertilisers.
The agreement aims to facilitate resource exchanges, information transfer and student training to foster innovation and enhance project commercial feasibility.The signing ceremony took place at the UAF campus, attended by Pak Suzuki Managing Director Hiroshi Kawamura and UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan (SI), along with teams from both organizations.
During the meeting, Kawamura and Prof Khan emphasized their commitment to working together for the socio-economic development of the country and contributing to global environmental targets by reducing carbon footprints, in line with the vision of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan.
