Tribute paid to martyrs of 1965 war
Rawalpindi:The Al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF) Pakistan organised an impressive ceremony to pay homage to sacrifices of martyrs and ‘Ghazis’ of 1965 war at Agosh College’ Murree.
Air Vice Marshal (r) Khudadad Khan, chairman of the Education Committee, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and Air Commodore (r) Khalilur Rehman Ghori were special guests on the occasion. As both the senior retired PAF officers had closely witnessed the 1965 war, the students listened to their speeches with great attention and interest. They shared that the success in the 1965 war was due to complete trust in Allah and the unity of the nation. They also answered the students' questions in detail.
To uplift the spirits of the participants, the students presented speeches and patriotic songs. They remarked that Pakistan is an indomitable reality and that it is a sacred land that no enemy can cast an evil eye upon.
It is worth noting that Aghosh College, Murree, managed by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, is a residential institution offering world-class education, providing orphaned children with accommodation, education, training, food, and other facilities. Aghosh College, Murree is located 35 kilometres from Islamabad on the Murree Expressway.
