PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission on Thursday sealed 11 health care establishments in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.The operation was conducted under Anti-Quackery laws 2022 of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission.
“On the directives of Director licensing Shabnam Gul, health care establishment in Peshawar, Bannu, Swat and Abbottabad were inspected and 11 were sealed for different violations,” said Azm Rehman, a spokesman for the commission, adding, many facilities were issued show-cause notices.
He said that the inspection team visited various health care establishments in Peshawar and sealed five facilities for different violations while others were issued show-cause notices.
He added that a separated inspection team carried out an anti-quackery campaign in Havelian tehsil in Abbottabad in which two facilities were sealed while three were issued notices for registration.
In Bannu, he said, the officials inspected various health care establishments in Adhami union council and sealed two facilities. Inspection was also carried out at Khwazakhela tehsil in Swat where two facilities were sealed for different violations of rules.Azm Rehman said the operation was conducted to provide the public with best health facilities across KP.
