Parliamentary secretary visits CBD, lauds its initiatives

LAHORE: Parliamentary Secretary for the Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Department (HUD and PHED) Barrister Sultan Bajwa visited the Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab) here on Monday.

Barrister Sultan Bajwa lauded the initiatives of CBD Punjab, affirming its transformative impact on Punjab's development trajectory. He said CBD Punjab is emerging as a pivotal player in advancing Punjab's economic landscape. "The visionary projects being executed here will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the province's growth agenda," he added.

CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin, alongside COO Brig (retd) Mansoor Janjua gave an insightful briefing on the progress and future of its flagship projects. During the presentation, Imran Amin highlighted key initiatives such as CBD Prime, Quaid District, and NSIT City. He emphasised their pivotal role in reshaping the urban landscape and catalysing economic growth across the region.

He said the projects undertaken by CBD Punjab are not just infrastructural developments; they embody our commitment to fostering innovation and prosperity. “We are strategically positioning CBD Punjab to attract local and international investments, thereby stimulating economic activities and creating ample job opportunities," he remarked.

Prominent officials, including Director of Marketing Waseem Siddiq and Director of Business Development and Investor Relations Ali Waqar Shah attended the briefing session. Waseem Siddiq provided a detailed overview of ongoing and upcoming projects, underscoring CBD Punjab's strategic planning, robust marketing endeavors, and prospects aligned with the vision of establishing the district as a premier business and commercial hub.

The session concluded on a positive note, with stakeholders reaffirming their commitment to realising CBD Punjab's ambitious goals of sustainable urban development and economic prosperity. Later, Imran Amin presented a souvenir to Barrister Sultan Bajwa.
