Female cop commits suicide in Shah Faisal Colony

A female police constable allegedly committed suicide in the Shah Faisal Colony area on Sunday.

She was identified as Maryam who was stationed at the Shah Faisal Colony police station.

The female cop allegedly committed suicide at her house. The body was shifted to a private hospital.

According to her husband, she had an argument with someone, after which she hanged herself at home.

Upon receiving the information, police reached the property and inquired into the incident. Police investigators said that according to initial investigations, it appeared to be a suicide. Further investigations are under way.
