PESHAWAR: The newly appointed Chief Commissioner of the Regional Tax Office (RTO) Peshawar, Yasir Ali, has promised to take all steps to resolve the problems being faced by the KP business community.
According to a press release issued here, Yasir Ali expressed these views while talking to the Coordinator Pak-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PAJCCI), Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi who called on him at his office.
The RTO chief commissioner told the PAJCCI coordinator that the business community could contact him any time and he would try his level best to provide maximum relief to them.
Earlier, Zia Sarhadi, who is also a member of the advisory committee and honorary coordinator for Media Affairs in the Federal Tax Ombudsman office, congratulated Yasir Ali on assuming his duties in RTO in Peshawar. He made some suggestions for simplification
of tax collection procedures, resolution of problems being faced by taxpayers and reforms in the taxation system.
The RTO chief commissioner listened to the suggestions and said steps would be taken to improve taxation system and provide ease of doing business to the trading community.
