PESHAWAR: Dawat-e-Islami has started arranging functions in different parts of the country with the advent of Rabiul Awwal month.
A press release said the functions were being arranged in Peshawar, Lahore, Karachi and other cities. These gatherings are watched through the video link as well. Addressing the functions at the Madani Marakiz, the Allama Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri, the founder of the Dawat-e-Islami and ameer of Ahl-e-Sunnat organisation, said the finality of the Prophethood was an important part of our faith.
He recalled that the Muslims defended the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat at the time when false claims were made after the departure of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) from this world. The Allama urged the people to promote in children the recitation of Darood Sharif apart from motivating them to offer prayers regularly.
Meanwhile, a Milad function will be arranged at Parda Bagh today (Monday) from 9pm to 12 midnight in connection with the 12th of Rabiul Awwal celebrations.
