LAHORE : A security guard identified as Ali Butt of a private security company of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) was found involved in drug trafficking.
In this regard, on Sunday, MS Dr Frayad Hussain submitted a preliminary report to Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof Al-Fareed Zafar.
Principal Prof Al-Fareed Zafar ordered for verifying information of all security guards from Special Branch and issued instructions that no security guard should be permanently posted at one place.
He said if any other colleague of the security guard is found guilty during the police investigation, he will also face the law.
The PGMI principal directed that in future, before taking any security guard on duty, the person concerned should get clearance from the police.
MS Lahore General Hospital Dr Faryad Hussain issued a show-cause notice to the security company for not following the rules and regulations in this regard and denounce that if the concerned private security company does not submit information verified by the police within seven days, the hospital administration will discharge private security guards.
